Ottawa Believers Being Asked to Host Ukrainian Refugees

hostaukrainefamily 33The war in Ukraine is Europe’s biggest humanitarian crisis since World War 2, with millions of refugees having fled the country. Many students and families have also arrived in Ottawa, although housing is currently one of the biggest needs. Algonquin College's campus ministry has organized programs for refugees, and are currently looking for believers who are willing to host either a Ukrainian family or Ukrainian student for the short term. It’s up to each Canadian to decide what can be offered, whether one month, one semester, or full term accommodation.

Students are also looking for computers, cell phones, supplies, families for grocery cards, furniture, winter clothing, toys, strollers ,etc., and majority are looking for jobs.

If you are willing to host a Ukrainian student or family, or provide one of the above needs, please This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
