“Today is World Theatre Day and those who have taken the stage with me know that I love the process. The building it piece-by-piece, the relationships, the grit, the sweat - seeing it all come together. No truly passionate performer ONLY enjoys being in front of an audience, otherwise they wouldn't feel fulfilled. The goal is a completed masterful production, and obviously it's fulfilling when we get there, but the reward is the culmination of everything you've done leading up to that point. We are impacted and changed by the journey. And the more we embrace that, the more fulfilment we'll find when we reach the end.
So whether you're working towards a goal or praying for a miracle, reflect, instead, on how you're growing by the PROCESS. It'll make the reward so much sweeter. Happy Monday."
