Have you ever thought about how IRONIC the Remembrance Poppy is?
The poppy is a symbol of remembrance and was a common sight of the First World War, particularly on the Western Front. Blood red flowers flourished in the soil churned up by the fighting and shelling. Land that was once a barren battle ground became the perfect environment for beautiful flowers. Just reminds me how much God uses pain and brokenness and can turn it in to beauty.
If you’ve been through the battle and feeling defeated and broken, it is not the end. you will rise again. I heard someone put it this way: With God, restoration isn't just about piecing things back together; it's about revealing beauty and strength in places that once symbolized pain and defeat. Like the scars you wear, these poppies represent strength, resilience, and the beauty that came after the trenches.
