When the storms of life blow, what are you anchored to? Friends, your job, the politician you voted for..? 
So many people are tied to the results of this election. Believing their whole lives and happiness are dependent on their guy winning. That’s heavy!
I came home from work after a really hectic day already overwhelmed and was confronted with some challenging news about the state of our world; Invited in to a debate I just wanted nothing to do with, to be honest. I wanted to hide from it. I'm usually not someone who is affected by the burden of things I can't control, that bring anxiety, and that may shift & change. But it's a whole lot harder to let go when it's coming at you non-stop in the news and from the people around you. As Christians though, we don’t have to fight or flee from the scary things happening in the news. Our Heavenly Father holds the whole world in the palm of his hand. So no matter how windy the storm, we can be at peace within it. 
Are you caught up in the storm or are you tethered to the One who doesn't move.
